Ordinary funding comes first
At an eligible payday, Set Aside Money funds ordinary contributions before additional Fund Ahead reserves. Choosing a bigger reserve does not put it ahead of ordinary contributions. Within each phase, funding considers High, Normal, and Low priority, followed by the earliest due date. An Expense precedes a Goal when their priority and due date tie.Priority changes the order
Priority does not change the scheduled contribution. It matters when available money cannot cover the whole plan. If all contributions can be funded, changing priority need not change how much each Expense receives. When money is limited
A contribution can be partially funded. Review the Expense’s current balance and any remaining shortfall rather than assuming its target has been covered. A partial run preserves its funding plan for retries. Later settings changes do not silently rewrite the original allocation.Building an extra reserve
Fund Ahead adds a reserve goal for eligible recurring Expenses. The total Expense balance includes the extra reserve, so do not count it twice. Spending uses ordinary money first, then the reserve. Reducing Fund Ahead preserves existing money; use an explicit transfer to release it.Saving settings
Changing priority, recurrence, payment count, or build-by date updates your plan. Saving those settings does not move money.Priority Funding
