# Funding schedules

> Set money aside around one or more paydays.

Funding schedules connect your income rhythm to your Expenses. You can use more than one schedule and choose which Expenses each one funds.

## Build a schedule

Open funding schedules in the app, enter the payday cadence and next date, and assign the Expenses or Goals it should fund. Review the planned contributions before saving.

Two paychecks can fund different commitments. An Expense can use the schedules appropriate to its plan.

## Payday and bill date are different

A bill's recurrence describes when you owe it. A funding schedule describes when you set money aside. These can have different cadences.

For example, insurance can be due every six months while you set aside money every payday.

## Review actual funding

Check funded balances after a schedule runs. When available money is insufficient, review what was actually funded and what still needs attention.

Priority Funding controls the order when available money cannot fund the entire plan.
